On Our Way Home...

We fly back home today and tomorrow! I have mixed feelings: excited to be back in PA (I'm a homebody), but sad to be leaving beautiful Hawaii!

18 days until my handsome, charming, chubby, adorable, winsome, awesome (he takes after me)  little nephew's due date! <3

So, what do you do when you're stuck in traffic?

Enjoying a shave ice at the best shave ice place ever (aka Matsumoto's) with my grandparents! I got pineapple, coconut, and mango flavors, which was absolutely delicious! #SoMuchBetterThanRita's

Then we went to Sunset Beach to watch the sunset. It was an experience I will never forget! So gorgeous! The waves were humongous, and I even got to see some whales! (Yes, I really did!) :D

Yesterday was National Siblings(s) Day. I want to give a shout out to all of my siblings, whether they are at work or in Wisconsin, and say thank you for loving me no matter what and picking on me :) and letting me tag along with you to Home Depot or JoAnn's or Starbucks. You guys are the best! I wouldn't trade you for the world! <3

You know what's sad? The fact that we're leaving in 3 days. *crying uncontrollably,* *sniff,* *regains composure*

Greetings from Hawaii! Sorry I haven't posted anything earlier! It's been pretty busy here! :D

We arrived here on Thursday afternoon, and I have not stopped taking pictures since! It's so beautiful! The mountains are so majestic, and the water is so many different shades of blue, it's hard to accurately describe! There are gorgeous flowers everywhere, from the classic plumeria, to the sweet-smelling gardenia, to red and pink hibiscus! I <3 Hawaii!

Anyways, enough talking. Here are some pictures:

 We stayed with people who lived on Ikiiki (eke-eke) Street. The street names in Hawaii are so much more interesting than street names in PA. 

I mean, Ikiiki St. is so much better that plain, old Miller Ave., right?
